My apologies for the mass flooding of news, but there's a great wave of Green going on these days.

I hope you all had the opportunity to attend Homegrown Alabama's Weekly Farmers Market this evening. Remember that Tuscaloosa farmers will be selling produce at Canterbury Chapel every Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.on the corner of Hackberry Lane and Ninth Street.
*
A Critical Mass, or a bike ride of many riders that intends to raise awareness about biking as a means of transportation, will begin at Denny Chimes this Friday (TOMORROW) at 4:30 p.m. Come with your bicycle to ride along with others on two-wheeled non-motorized vehicles. A few riders will even have portable sounds systems to draw attention to the pedaling pack.
*
UA Recycles and the SGA Department of Environmental Concerns will be passing out blue bags to tailgaters on the quad on Saturday to collect aluminum and plastic. Come help promote recycling between 12 p.m. and 9 p.m.
*
The next UAEC meeting will take place at 4 p.m. on Sunday in room 109 Carmichael Hall, which is located on Colonial Drive.
Some items up for discussion:
- what to do with UAEC funds
- possible fundraisers
- film screenings
- UA Green Fair briefing

Finally, take a moment to grin for GOING GREEN championing over SPRING BREAK on last night's episode of Lewis Black's Root of All Evil, which airs on Comedy Central.
