General Announcements/Gathering of the Environmentally Aware Agenda

Get On Board Day will now be held tomorrow from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on the Ferguson Plaza instead of the quad. We have fliers to distribute, and we may have some treats.

The UAEC is also trying to obtain status as a coordinating body at UA.

Here's a proposed agenda for the Gathering of the Environmentally Aware, which will be held Thursday at 4 p.m. in 313 Ferg:

Announce Dates/write on board
SGA Meeting: Sept. 2 6:15pm in Room 204 A of the Ferguson Center (Justinn or Kendra will speak)
Green Fair: Oct. 2 (Dr. Oneal will)
America Recycles Day: Nov. 15
EarthFest: Apr. 19
Earth Day: Apr. 22

Ask for other dates.

Introduce groups
-have attendants raise hand if affiliated/representative of a group
-write group names and contact info on board
-write group on nametag

Introduce environmental issues
-have attendants call out the facet that concerns them
-write issues on board

Introduce environmental issues specific to UA
-write issues on board
-write issues on nametag

Have people mingle based on issue and discuss how they can pursue resolving it.

Pass around E-mail list for sign ups.

Offer the UAEC E-mail address/Facebook group as a place to go to seek information about groups in attendance.
